The Brotherhood of San Juan “Degollao”, whose original aim was to defend the town walls and therefore it had a military character, celebrates its festivities on August 29th.
These festivities are somehow considered as the “grand finale” for the summer season in Laguardia.
There are some typical dances on this day, like the dance of the “Troqueados”, the dance of the “Arches” and the “Jota” of Laguardia.
