Route of the Dolmens
The following route runs through the northern part of Rioja Alavesa, alongside the Sierra Cantabria.
Close to the mountain range there is an abundance of prehistoric remains which confirm the presence of man long ago. In addition to prehistoric settlements like the Buradón hill-forts or the protohistorics of the La Hoya settlement, the numerous dolmens that have appeared give the route its name. -
